And as I venture into sales topics more, every 4th post or so is about \u2019secret hiring sauce\u2019. Given range of tactics and models used, even within sales domain, I fail to see anything that stands as good as DISC model.<\/p>\n<div class=\"col span_12 dark \">\n<div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column column_container col no-extra-padding instance-0\" data-padding-pos=\"all\" data-has-bg-color=\"false\" data-bg-color=\"\" data-bg-opacity=\"1\" data-hover-bg=\"\" data-hover-bg-opacity=\"1\" data-animation=\"\" data-delay=\"0\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>I first heard about it in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/The-Ultimate-Sales-Machine-Turbocharge\/dp\/1591842158\">The Ultimate Sales Machine by Chet Holmes<\/a>. And he gave a cookie cutter approach to hiring a performing sales guy. Well, even a wonder kid borne with the one in a million Indian astrological charts goes through bad times, its hard to say that everyone that meets specific DISC profile hypothesized by Chet will be a star performer.<\/p>\n<p>But theoretically, good to admit that chances do go up.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, I have been trying this DISC profile on all the people I have been interviewing. And almost anyone I have been having a business conversation with. Tony Robbins has really made this job easy for me by creating this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tonyrobbins.com\/ue\/disc-profile.php\">excellent free DISC Profile test<\/a>. Lets see where it leads to.
